What To Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating.  To help you feel more comfortable, below is a breakdown of what you can expect to happen during a Sunday Morning Service.

Overview

A typical service will last about 75 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is children's ministry available and activities for all age groups. 

Welcome

During this time, we'll welcome you and update you on things going on at MVCC and how you can get involved.

Singing

We will sing to aim our hearts toward God and express our love for Him.  The words will be on the screen, so you can sing as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

Message

One of the pastors will share instruction and inspiration from the Bible.

Communion

All followers of Jesus Christ are invited to participate in Communion, a reflective time meant to remind us of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.

Community

After the service concludes, there will be time to hang out on the patio area, enjoy some refreshments, and connect with other people.
