REACHING PEOPLE WITH THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST, TO MAKE DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES.

What we believe...

God

We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This God is the creator of all things. (Matthew 5:16, 45; 6:1;4-9; James 1:17; John 1:1-4, 14; Genesis 1:2; John 4:24; 14:16-20; 2 Peter 1:21)

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation of Himself to man, the inspired and infallible Word of God, and the supreme and final authority for all matters of life. (Mark 12:36, John 14:26; 16:12-15; Acts 1:16; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13; 2 Timothy 3:14-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; Hebrews 4:12)

Sin

We believe that God created mankind to have a relationship with Him, but man has separated himself from God by sin and is lost. (Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23)

Jesus

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son, fully human and fully divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. (John 1:1-4; 1 John 4:9; 2 Peter 3:18) (Matthew 21:11; John 19:19; John 1:14; Romans 5:15-17; Colossians 2:9; Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26-38)

The Resurrection

We believe Jesus Christ died on a cross, was buried, and rose again in bodily form on the third day. (Luke 23:44; 24:5-8, John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 15:15:3-8)

The Ascension

We believe Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. (Luke 22:69; Acts 1:1-9; Colossians 3:1)

The Second Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will return to the earth to judge both the living and the dead. (Matthew24:36-42; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:10-11; 10:39-42; 1 Peter 4:5)

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is an active and operative part of the triune God. (John 16:5-15; Acts 1:7-8; Romans 8:26-27)

Salvation

We believe the Bible teaches that salvation and the forgiveness of sins are achieved only by grace through the blood of Christ. (Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 18:19; 1 John 1:7)

Covenant Relationship

We believe that the Bible teaches that one receives God’s grace by entering into a covenant relationship with Him by faith in Jesus Christ. According to Scripture, entering this covenant includes: belief in Christ, repenting of sin, proclaiming Christ as Lord and Savior, and being baptized by immersion into Christ. (Romans 5:1-2;6:1-7; John 3:16; Acts 2:39; 3:19; 17:30; 2 Peter 3:9; Matthew 10:3; Romans 10:9-10; Philippians 2:9-11; Galatians 3:27; Luke 13:3; 1 Peter 3:21)

Service

We believe that every believer is called to serve the Lord faithfully all the days of their life. (Rev. 2:10; John 8:31)
