"What I love best about teaching Sunday school is that the kids become MINE, and I treasure that time I get to spend with them each week as we learn about Jesus together. I LOVE worshipping Him in song with them, when they truly understand the lesson, and their joy and excitement as they affirm their love for Jesus. "My daughter Ryan and I initially started teaching together while she was in High School partially because she was planning to pursue a teaching career and this would allow us to work together to help her gain experience. A lot of the closeness of our relationship is directly related to our mutual involvement in this activity. While she changed from teaching school as a career, the success that she has attained in her career path has been directly impacted by her years as a Sunday School teacher and both of our walks in the Lord have been greatly enriched." "I have been blessed to have teachers here at MVCC impact all three of my children for Christ…and I knew I needed to give back. There is not one Sunday that I have taught that I didn’t go home a better Mom and Wife because of the joy “my” four-year olds gave to me on Sunday morning. I have gotten to know some great parents who have become my friends as a result of having their kids in my class. It’s a great way to “plug in” to MVCC! You want an accountability partner in Christ?
